Fiduciary trust international — design internship
Summer 2025, NYC(Remote)
Company Overview:
Fiduciary Trust International (FTI) is a wealth management and investment planning firm based in New York City. The company provides customized financial services tailored to clients’ goals and circumstances. During my internship, I collaborated with the marketing team to support client-facing events, digital communications, and branding initiatives.
My Contributions:
Designed three complete slide decks for FTI professionals presenting at the 2025 Young Lawyers Program event (Estate Administration and Executors' Elections, The Prudent Investors Act, and Enough to be Dangerous).
Created the email invitation graphic promoting the event.
Redesigned infographics for the company website to improve clarity and alignment with brand standards.
Supported the company’s brand refresh initiative by applying the new color palette in my slide deck designs, helping introduce the updated visual identity.
Contributed to early-stage website redesign concepts, providing ideas on layout, navigation, and visual direction.

What I Learned
My internship at Fiduciary Trust International was a valuable opportunity to grow as both a designer and collaborator. Working closely with marketing and senior professionals taught me the importance of flexibility—adapting design choices to organizational goals while still bringing creativity to the process. Overall, this experience strengthened my presentation design skills, deepened my understanding of visual systems, and gave me greater confidence in communicating design decisions across teams.
